Planning to enter the premium cookie /biscuit segment with new flavours like Sugar Free Pistachio, Strawberry (aimed at children and not sugar free segment) and 2 varieties of chocolate chip cookies – vanilla and chocolate. If we do not find unsweetened chocolate chips in the market for producing the chocolate chip cookies, then we would have to label the chocolate chip cookies as low calorie cookies instead of sugar free cookies as the chocolate chips are usually sweetened and contain a small amount of sugar.

As we are planning to enter the premium cookies market segment, 2 cookies will be packed in aluminium foil packing paper and then 5 such cookie packs with be put in a carton and sold. The cookies are usually packed in horizontal flow wrap packing machine also called a pillow pack machine. There are vertical packing machines also available. As we do not want to invest in pillow pack machine, right away we might use horizontal or vertical continuous sealer.
