Our Location
Suzhou is a famous cultural city with 2500 years’ history. Bordering on shanghai and close to Pudong, it has now become the economic center of the Yangtze river Delta. Thanks to the great amount of automotive part and component manufacturers, bus and coach industry has been developing fast in this area.
Suzhou Industrial Park is a large modern industrial park established by China and Singapore. It builds a modern industry system with management consistent with international business regulations, fast trade speed, low cost and good financial service. It has been appraised to be the Class A investment area by large economic medias.
Milestone

In 1999, Higer Bus Company Limited began operation. With the sales of RMB230 million, it made profit in the first year, which was well known in Chinese bus and coach industry. In 2001, it obtained the qualification of independent development of chassis, which is rare in the domestic bus and coach manufacturers. In 2002, it began to manufacture large buses and coaches. With the sales of 9375 buses and coaches of RMB1.75 billion, it became the Chinese bus and coach manufacturer with the second largest sales amount in the year. In 2003 and 2004, it gained the sales of RMB1.88 billion and RMB 2.4 billion. The continuous fast increase of sales amount has never stopped for the past six years.

In Sept, 1999, 1000 complete buses and coaches was completed.
 In 2001, it obtained the qualification of self-oriented chassis development.
In Nov. 2002, it was appraised as the high-tech enterprise by the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu province.
In Mar., 2003, it passed the certification “CCC”(Chinese Compulsory Certificate).
In May., 2003, it was appraised as the excellent company in mechanical industry of Jiangsu province.
In Jun., 2003, the new factory of 400, 000 m2 in Suzhou Industrial Park was completed.
In Jun., 2003, Higer series were put into the market in an all-round way.
In Jul., 2003, it passed the certification of the ISO/TS16949.

Our R&D
Higer Bus positively adapts advanced technologies by combining self-oriented development with international cooperation and by searching for talents in an effort to manufacture domestic buses and coaches of “safety, comfort and with added value”. The excellent policies for talents attracted a great many talents to form a powerful R&D team. At present, there are 150 technicians, of which 20% are masters or doctors. In addition, it has established the station of post doctors, which makes the company an arena for talents.
Quality Control

Higer Bus has built interior inspection track and automatic inspection line standardized by Ministry of Public Security of China. We strictly meet the certificate of TS16949 and the state compulsory 3C by overall quality management of purchase, production and the completion of the buses and coaches. In the workshops, we carry out quality inspection in an all round way, combining the spot check and self-inspection. We have set up the security management committee and built the complete bus and coach inspection system in order to ensure the technical stability and security.
