Eco and responsible tourism development investment opportunity

Opportunity Summary

We are seeking to develop some forested land in the interior of the Caribbean Spice Island of Grenada into a small scale 'Eco Park' and would like initial expressions of interest. This project would be aimed at the eco-tourism market and will major in responsible tourism and volunteer tourism. The park could be a mixture of developing sustainable agricultural practices, sourcing new crop and planting opportunities, providing leisure facilities such as mountain Biking and orienteering, agricultural research centred on tropical flora and fauna, camping area and play area for children. It is hoped that we can attract individual investors at a low-level to have a share in any facilities (i.e log chalets/cabins and cycle path) built on the land but retain the freehold on the land. However, may consider some plot sales if the need arises. Investors would be able to either by shares in facilities or land plots or particular areas of the project or invest outright for full ownership.

We believe that the minimum investment  would probably be around USD1500/1150 euro (estimation subject to change) for a percentage share in one of the accomodation units that we would build on the site. More comprehensive investment in a plot on the site can be discussed at a later date should you express an interest (details will be available between February 2011-May 2011 after the site is fully assessed)
