My name is Tom Kern. I am the majority owner of a material handling equipment installation company. We have been in business for ten or more years and I would like to retire. My partner is eager to stay with the business for a year or so to help direct the new owners.
 
Basically we have 6-10 employees, including 2 supervisors.  We own 2 trucks, a small trailer and tools and equipment.  Those assets would equal approximately $40,000US, with no debt to the new owners.
 
The business has consistently generated between $60,000US and $70,000US for the owners on gross sales of about $800,000US per year. Approximately 80% of the current installations have been in the Southeastern part of the US with about 20% throughout the balance of the states.
 
We have a good base of customers that will continue with the new owners.
 
There is a great potential to expand this business if the new owner wants to do so. We would be happy to help with that also.
