Trade Show Consultancy: a forward thinking franchise opportunity
The IMC (International Merchandising Center) Group has been hosting live trade exhibitions in its 25,000 square metre exhibition hall in Cyprus for more than 20 years. IMC has substantially extended its services as IMC Business Global PLC, trading as Respond to this opportunity, hosting globally-marketed, international on-line trade exhibitions. We have had great success so far, our most recent exhibition, ‘Best of China 2009’, attracting over 1.5 million unique visitors and more than 3700 company exhibitors.
BusinessGlobal trade exhibitions strive to recreate the experience of attending any international physical trade exhibition in terms of appearance and live business networking, enabling visitors to speak live to exhibitors through internet telephone, exchange business cards, and make appointments to talk, as well as attend seminars and presentations from leading experts from around the world. To enable us to provide our services, we have close partnerships with many Chambers of Commerce and trade centres, trade associations and official bodies (an example of which is CEATEC – the China-Europe Association for Technologic and Economic Cooperation – a commercial arm of the PRC Ministry of Finance).
Exhibitors pay between 600 Euros and 1700 Euros to participate, and receive a beautifully presented pavilion within one of our scheduled exhibitions, attracting a mass audience of hundreds of thousands of motivated corporate buyers. In real terms, exhibitors appreciate the fact that exhibiting with us costs, in real terms, a fraction of that associated with exhibiting at an international physical exhibition when they consider the savings related to staffing, travel, accommodation, exportation of exhibits, pavilion rental, etc, etc. Further, the number of visitors to one of our exhibitions is more than 10 times that usually received at any physical exhibition.
The Franchise Opportunity
Your role would be to represent the services provided by BusinessGlobal within an available EXCLUSIVE territory of your choosing.
Your revenue streams would come from the following areas:
Exhibitor participation fees
Our pavilion packages range in price anywhere from around 600 Euros to 2500 Euros, depending on the exhibition being marketed. Your business would receive a large share of all participation fees won from your clients. Service fulfilment, invoicing and other administration would remain the responsibility of the BusinessGlobal head quarters – giving you the time and freedom to develop your business. Also note that all payments to you are recurring for clients who rebook in the future.
Translation service orders.
All of our exhibitions are international, enabling our exhibitors to develop a truly international customer base. Although our platform is multilingual, the promotional material that exhibitors use to create their pavilions is not always multilingual. This presents a great opportunity to your business to develop an additional revenue stream.
We have partnered up with some of the world’s leading manual translation companies, enabling our exhibitors to request translation of their promotional material in up to 11 other languages at low rates. Further our management reporting facilities enable exhibitors to identify new markets for their products and services by seeing how many visitors from a particular region visited their pavilion.
You would also have access to this management reporting information, giving you the opportunity to encourage your clients to translate their material in other languages to accommodate these newly identifies markets. Translation services are priced per 1000 words translated, and depend on the language translation being requested. Your business will benefit greatly in being able to offer this services as an additional source of revenue.
Pavilion creation services.
Regardless of how intuitive our platform is for exhibitors, a substantial percentage of our exhibitors find the process of selecting, designing and customising their pavilion to be a real overhead. Exhibitors would greatly appreciate your help in this process, from design and setup, to compiling their digital material and product/service brochures. Pavilion design and creation services are a very popular value added service and a great opportunity to develop an additional revenue stream for your business.
