Innovator Mr. J. Sengolan. He is a man hailing from a rural town Krishnagiri about 300 kms from Chennai, India. He strives to find new products and his ideas had been poorer friendly and energy friendly too. He is a treasure trove of ideas for budding scientists in the area.

Some of his innovations had been accepted by the Indian institute of Technology Chennai and some prestigious institutions. Some path breaking innovations include

 A user friendly freezer box which consumes miniscule energy compared to conventional ones there by reducing the energy used. Farmers and small traders benefit a lot by this storage boxes.
 He also has pioneered a generator which does not need conventional energy like the normal ones i.e. diesel, electricity. But more efficient and user friendly than the solar powered generators and is very economical too.
 He empowered poor incense sticks’ manufacturers mostly rural and uneducated women by producing incense stick machine which greatly reduces the amount of work these women had to do in their hands. He is hailed by many womenfolk for this idea even today.
 His list of innovations include other ideas too like a cooling fan with much efficacy, and new blenders etc..
