Operations Manager Seeking Business Opportunity

Opportunity Summary

I am a warranted Engineer and have over sixteen years experience in electronics manufacturing Operations and General Management.

At this point in my career I would like to join an organisation that currently might be considering setting up it's own electronics based manufacturing facility. I may be instrumental to set up and run such a facility.

 
I am currently based in UK and work as Global Quality Director and Italy
Business Unit Director of a remanufacturing company operating in the
automotive sector. This involves hands on multi-site management and
regular travel as the company is rapidly growing into a multinational
organisation, currently with operations in 8 countries including the US.
 
My previous job was that of Operations Manager and later General Manager
of an electronic assembly plant employing over 150 people. I also managed
the company’s Brazilian plant and EMS providers in South America.
 
Since the conception of the company I have had total responsibility of the
factory set-up and operations. So, I have outstanding experience in
Managing Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Recourses, Production, Quality,
Process and Maintenance Engineering, Overseas Outsourced Manufacturing and other activities such as coordination with R&D for the launching and
certification of new products and even Sales and Customer Service.
 
Prior to that I worked as Quality Engineer for the World Class
Multinational company ST Microelectronics where as a new entry I gained a
solid background of continuous improvement, TQM and Kaizen culture and
also Lean Manufacturing. I also had the opportunity to work closely with
key customers including Thomson, Nokia, Ford and Creative.
 
I have no problems with relocating and regular travel if need be.
