The history of the company goes into the year 1957.
Till the year 1991 the company was focused on the production of different products from plastic (packing). In the 1991 the company has invested funds in a water filling line with the water sources on their own land.

Mr. Franc Kaplja is the general manager and owner of the company. The company Plastenka d.o.o. is divided in two profit centers: Products from plastic and bottled water (1,5 L /0,5 L / 0,75 L).

The main reason for offering the water part of the company is that Plastenka did not succsed in the last years to increase the production and sales vol for export.
According to the capacity of existing water sources.

The concession contract is valid for 30 years with the possibility of extension.
