Opportunity Summary

I am a freelance serious game designer at the cutting edge of simulation training in North America and the world. I have worked for the big serious game development companies - including BreakAway Ltd and Forterra - researching and designing simulation applications for disaster response and Homeland Security appliciations. I have worked extensively in the Washington DC in the design of applications to train healthcare and emergency responders in disaster management. I have met world-leaders in disaster management, who have given me invaluable research insight and have told me directly what is required to train personnel in their community.

I am also an entertainment game designer specializing in design of games with realistic military simulation aspects. I recently finished work on a next-gen XBox360, PS3 and PC game due for release this summer, applying my knowledge of these areas.

I have a concept and design prototype for a new training application that has breakthrough potential in the area of disaster response management. Currently, the requirement to train the millions of first responders, healthcare providers, public health and other officials in disaster management is desparately lacking. However, the product I envision has other applications beyond disaster management training as well.

The product would use up-and-coming distributed (internet) technologies to deliver training content in a revolutionary manner.

I am looking for business management to create a new company purpose-built to develop a revolutionary serious game training simulation product. I have contacts with game design and development talent, artistic talent, and disaster response end-users. What I need is the business management expertise to tie this together in a business. The initial market would be disaster response management, but the product would be applicable to other fields as well, including military and entertainment gaming. The total end-user potential could be huge.
