Opportunity Summary

NQEA has constructed in excess of 200 vessels including high speed catamarans, dredgers, barges, trawlers, tugs, Naval patrol boats, hydrographic vessels, landing craft etc. up to 85 metres and approx. 3000 tonnes. Construction takes place in its extensive facilities including large construction halls containing some 28,000 sq. metres of under cover area.

NQEA's experience in the development of environmentally friendly low wash technology is highly regarded worldwide having built the Parker designed Rivercats operating on Sydney harbour and the NQEA designed River Runner series operating in Tahiti and Holland. Additional River Runner 150 and 200 series destined for the United Kingdom are currently under construction.

NQEA's wholly owned subsidiary, Queensland Marine & Industrial (QMI), undertakes ship repair refit on all classes of vessels and has a worldwide reputation for its quality and workmanship in particular luxury yachts. It has extensive facilities including its 1500 tonne capacity slipway, 60 metre dry dock and three hundred (300) metres of newly constructed wharves.
