Opportunity Summary

Our client is one of Australia's leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure contractors. Their activities include engineering, building, project management, a broad range of specialist design and construction services, specialist major project and infrastructure packaging services across Australasia. They have previously and continue to successfully deliver projects and packages of work entailing Roads, Bridges, Dams and Railways.

Within this position, you can be based anywhere in the SE Queensland area.

With the continued strengthening of their Queensland division, this position is a part of the companies continued strategic growth.

Within this position, you will be based in the Brisbane area on a major Earthworks and Structures project.

Your key objectives as a Site Engineer are to work closely with the Project Managers and Construction Manager to achieve successful delivery of the project to the required standard of time, budget, safety, employee relations, quality and environmental parameters and hence meeting the needs of the Client and Contractor.

As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers and Project Engineers in completing the Contract to budget, Client's satisfaction, specified quality, to achieve zero accidents, delivery to time, satisfy environmental constraints and maintain good relationships with all sub-contractors, clients and consultants whilst in line with the program.

Sound commercial and programming skills are a preference although extensive training is also offered in these areas.

Relevant tertiary or Degree level qualifications are expected. Specific Civil Contractor based Road, Rail, Structures and/or Earthworks experience is essential.
